"Funkwagon is a gospel infused funk band based in Burlington, VT. The band was formed in 2005 by Aaron Burroughs. “I like to think of it as church with a smoker's section...and a bar,” says Burroughs. My newest cooperative project with Zach Rhoads from Funkwagon on piano and vocals, Joe Chapman on drums and myself on bass and vocals. Mix the sound of indie/jazz/fusion and a bit of R & B and you get 1Q. Watch for us around Burlington as we get started on mid-week gigs.

A staple in the Burlington area, I have been the bass player for Gordon for over 5 years. GSB has played venues ranging from the Highline Ballroom in NYC, to the famous coffee house, Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY. GSB plays a combination bluegrass, newgrass, jazz and funk to new world African beats.
